Long Tail and Beyond
In the first class of this two session class, Annie will cover different
types of cast ons and their uses, and in the second class will discuss
and teach different bind offs, increases and decreases. She will
answer the ultimate questions, "Why can't I just knit 2 together
every time there is a decrease?" Learn the tricks that make
your finished creations look professional

Knitathon for the
Troops
January 23rd & 24th
Join us at LambShoppe for Knitting for Our Troops
Buy your yarn, 100% wool is the suggestion, bring your finished hat
back in, and LambShoppe will reimburse you 30% of the cost of the yarn.
Visit denverlibrary.org, click on Knitting for our Troops and get all
the info and the pattern which is listed at the bottom of the K*4*O*T*
page.
We'll be knitting on Friday night the 23rd until at least 10 pm
(You know us, we're not sure what time we close!). On Saturday,
the 24th, we open at 9:00. LambShoppe will serve some
munchies and snacks both days.

Warm
Hearts, Warm Heads: An Update
Lexie Musselman, one of the founders of Warm Hearts, Warm Heads, wishes
to thank all of the LambShoppe knitters who fulfilled their pledged hats,
and all of the knitters who helped Lexie reach the goal of 100 hats by
January 1, 2009. Lexie is a terrific young lady, now in the 9th
grade, who started this project while in the 7th grade.
