LAMBSHOPPE FIT-TO-KNIT WALKS
We knitters have to stay in top shape!
Saturdays, 10 - 11 am
Be at LambShoppe every Saturday for a brisk walk through the 'hood.  
Unless it's pouring, beginning June 6 we'll choose a route which will return to LambShoppe between 10:45 and 11:00.  Then, prop your feet up and enjoy a little sustenance such as bagels or fruit.  A beauteous start to a fabulous weekend.

Lonesome Stone Excursion
June 20th
Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Lonesome Stone Fiber Mill is located near Granby Colorado between two gorgeous ski areas, Steamboat Springs and Winter Park.  The Lonesome Stone is home to both alpacas and llamas.  We will be visiting the mill and see the process of creating the beautiful yarns, roving, and handpainted yarns.
We'll also visit with the alpacas and llamas who live at the fiber mill.  

Call LambShoppe and put in your boxed lunch order for the trip.  We'll begin at Lambshoppe, fill the cooler with soft drinks, then round up the bus and driver.  Cost for the day is $40.

Denver Health and Hospitals
Saturday, July 11, at 11:00 am after our Fit-to-Knit walk

Thank you to our friends who have made hats for Denver Health and Hospitals.  LambShoppe has a pattern for a ribbed hat or a rolled edge hat that is perfect!  Just ask for it when purchasing your yarn.  

We are learning more about the needs of Denver Health patients.  Many breast cancer patients who are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid need Tit Bits.  This pattern can be downloaded from knitty.com.  It's a bit of learning curve for all of us, so we are having our first group knitting session on Saturday, July to make Tit Bits.  Please join us and bring all of your ideas and skill.
