CLASSES

REGISTRATION
Register for classes by coming into the shop or calling 303-322-2223. Take a minute to read and understand the Class and Cancellation Policies below.

CLASS POLICY
As space is limited, full payment is required at registration to hold your spot. All materials must be purchased prior to the beginning of class, unless otherwise noted. All materials needed must be purchased from LambShoppe with the exception of hardware you already own such as needles, hooks etc. Please note skill level required and if there is any homework for your class. As a courtesy to the other students we ask that you arrive for class on time. There will be no admittance beyond 10 minutes past the start time.We know that occasionally unforeseen events will prevent you from being able to attend all of the scheduled classes. In that event any make-up time must be arranged with your instructor and there may be an additional fee required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Class and workshop fees are transferable up to one week before the start of class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Instructors reserve the right to cancel with less than their minimum student sign-ups. In the event of cancelation the student has the option of transferring to a differents class or receiving a refund.

PRIVATE HELP APPOINTMENTS
Unable to attend a class or need more individualized help? Schedule a private appointment with one of our skilled staff by calling 303-322-2223. $30.00 to $50.00 per hour for private lessons.
KNITTING SKILL LEVELS
Novice:
Knows how to spell knit, purl and crochet.

Beginner:
Knit- Knows how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Crochet - Knows how to chain, single, double and triple crochet.

Intermediate:
Knows a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and knows mid-level shaping.

Advanced:
Knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.

ENTRELAC SCARF

AISLING SHAWL
Skill Level:Intermediate

Aisling meas dream, and this shawl is. It begins at the center and is knit outward to the border. It is a combination of two yarn over increases in each row, and is knit in stockinette with eyelets which resemble raindrops - interrupted with rows of garter stitch. The lace cabled border is worked sideways at the end and attached to the body by means of simple decreases and slipped stitches. We're taking enought time between classes so that there will be enought time to complete this beautiful projet. We're using Llama Lace by Queensland. Yum.


STUFFED TOY BEAR
Skill Level: Adv. Beginner.

Cute as a bear! Made using Sirdar Touch. The pattern is written for a large or a small squichable and huggable bear. We will knit all body parts and pend the final session assembling our work of art.

SIMPLY SOCKS
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.
Next Start Date: In Progress.

This traditional sock method is worked from the top down on double pointed needles. You will learn the basic sock "formula" a blank canvas for more complicated sock patterns.

MIX IT UP SHAWL
Skill Level: Intermediate.

In a fitting nod to the concept of yin and yang, the construction of Mix It Up! is more effortless than it first appears: short rows and cast on stitches are the surprisingly easy secret to this color blocked shawl. With its clean lines, bold contrasts, and cozy garter stitch fabric, this shawl will quickly become a staple in any modern woman’s closet. Please let me know if you need anything else from me. RESISTANCE SHAWL
Skill Level: Intermediate.

Beautiful summer shawl knit with Skacels Leinen Los. This shawl is worked from the top down in five sections in two colors of alternating garter stitch stripes. Odd numbered sections are knit from the center out while even numbered sections are grafted and knit perpendicularly with a mitered square at the center point. No intarsia or short rows required. Homework: Purchase materials. Take time to check gauge.

MICHELLE HUNTER'S 14 CARAT PONCHO KNIT-ALONG

ROWAN-MARTIN STORY AFGHAN KNIT ALONG
Intermediate

This Rowan Mystery Afghan is available in 4 different color ways. In order to participate go to the Rowan website and register to get the patterns for the different squares as they become available. The first pattern is due out on January 28th with additional squares coming out approximately every 2 weeks. We will be offering help and moral support on the Saturdays after each square is released, from 10:00 to Noon. This help is free to anyone who purchases the yarn from LambShoppe.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO CROCHET
Skill Level: Novice
Classes starting: May 7, 2016.

Learn to chain, single, double, half-double, triple, increase and decrease. We'll be making an adult or child's crocheted blanket from the
Noro Flowers Book 4 using the techniques learned.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO KNIT
Skill Level: Novice
Next Start Date: March 28, 2016.

In four weeks, Beginners turn into real knitters! Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and decrease when making your first hat in the round in week three. In week four you will complete your hat using double point needles.

BEYOND THE BASICS
Skill Level:Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
Next Class Starts: May 15, 2016.
Got the basics down? Time to advance those knitting skills,. In this class you will learn a cable cowl, NAE scarf using seed stitch and learning to follow patterns, fixing mistakes and lots more!
