CLASSES

REGISTRATION
Register for classes by coming into the shop or calling 303-322-2223. Take a minute to read and understand the Class Policy Section below.

CLASS POLICY
As space is limited, full payment is required at registration to hold your spot. All materials must be purchased prior to the beginning of class, unless otherwise noted. All materials needed must be purchased from LambShoppe with the exception of hardware you already own such as needles, hooks etc. Please note skill level required and if there is any homework for your class. As a courtesy to the other students we ask that you arrive for class on time. There will be no admittance beyond 10 minutes past the start time. We know that occasionally unforeseen events will prevent you from being able to attend all of the scheduled classes. In that event any make-up time must be arranged with your instructor and there may be an additional fee required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Class and workshop fees are transferable up to one week before the start of class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Instructors reserve the right to cancel with less than their minimum student sign-ups. In the event of cancelation the student has the option of transferring to a differents class or receiving a refund.

When signing up for a class, please note the skill level required and if there is homework noted.

PRIVATE HELP APPOINTMENTS
Unable to attend a class or need more individualized help? Schedule a private appointment with one of our skilled staff by calling 303-322-2223. $30.00 to $50.00 per hour for private lessons.
KNITTING SKILL LEVELS
Novice:
Knows how to spell knit, purl and crochet.

Beginner:
Knit- Knows how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Crochet - Knows how to chain, single, double and triple crochet.

Intermediate:
Knows a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and knows mid-level shaping.

Advanced:
Knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.

FREE KNIT ALONG - CALLANISH CARDIGAN
Skill Level: Intermediate.
Next Start Date: Start date to be determined.

Join Whitney for a knit along!!! The knit along will run for 3 months and start as soon as the minimum of 10 people have registered. The sessions will meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 9:00AM to 11:00AM and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from Noon to 2:00PM. The knit-along is free to participate with purchase of yarn. Please RSVP by calling or stopping by Lamb Shoppe and signing up. Whitney will be communicating with participants by e-mail, so please make update your information when you register.

CASCADE MAGNUM WOMAN'S JACKET
Skill Level: Intermediate
Next Start Date: February 7, 2015.

Join us and make this Magnum Women's Jacket with, of course, Cascade Magnum super-bulky yarn. This pattern, designed by Martha Shumway, is fitted and flattering. It's made in pieces - SO, this is your big chance to finish sweater seams, sew in sleeves and zippers. It's a great first sweater for advanced beginner/intermediate knitters who know how to both knit and purl. Come in and choose your yarn so that we have enough of your color choice in stock.

CROCHET TANGO TUNIC
Skill Level: Intermediate
Next Start Date: February 2, 2015.

Sign up and choose your Tencel Tape Color so that we have enough in stock for your project. This one will challenge your brain and your crocheting skills - but you will be a better person because of having done this pattern. So there. The motifs of the yoke are seamless and morph into the mesh tunic, which eases into the lace bottom of the skirt which gives the tunic enough weight to keep its beautiful shape. And, the yarn ribbon is yummy. The pattern is from Interweave Crochet Spring 2013.

In four weeks, Beginners turn into real knitters! Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and decrease when making your first hat in the round in week three. In week four you will complete your hat using double point needles.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO CROCHET
Skill Level: Novice
Next Start Date: In Progress.

Learn to chain, single, double, half-double, triple, increase and decrease. We'll be making an adult or child's crocheted blanket from the
Noro Flowers Book 4 using the techniques learned.
