CLASSES

REGISTRATION
Register for classes by coming into the shop or calling 303-322-2223. Take a minute to read and understand the Class and Cancellation Policies below.

CLASS POLICY
As space is limited, full payment is required at registration to hold your spot. All materials must be purchased prior to the beginning of class, unless otherwise noted. All materials needed must be purchased from LambShoppe with the exception of hardware you already own such as needles, hooks etc. Please note skill level required and if there is any homework for your class. As a courtesy to the other students we ask that you arrive for class on time. There will be no admittance beyond 10 minutes past the start time.We know that occasionally unforeseen events will prevent you from being able to attend all of the scheduled classes. In that event any make-up time must be arranged with your instructor and there may be an additional fee required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Class and workshop fees are transferable up to one week before the start of class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Instructors reserve the right to cancel with less than their minimum student sign-ups. In the event of cancelation the student has the option of transferring to a differents class or receiving a refund.

When signing up for a class, please note the skill level required and if there is homework noted.

PRIVATE HELP APPOINTMENTS
Unable to attend a class or need more individualized help? Schedule a private appointment with one of our skilled staff by calling 303-322-2223. $30.00 to $50.00 per hour for private lessons.
KNITTING SKILL LEVELS
Novice:
Knows how to spell knit, purl and crochet.

Beginner:
Knit- Knows how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Crochet - Knows how to chain, single, double and triple crochet.

Intermediate:
Knows a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and knows mid-level shaping.

Advanced:
Knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.

Description:This drapey, luscious soft scarf uses paired caliper cables throughout, just enough work to keep you from being bored, but won't slow you down. Cabling without the cabling needle. We are using Juniper Moon Herriot, 100% baby alpaca. It also work's as a guy's scarf, who knew?

WONDERFUL WALLABY

Skill Level: Intermediate

Wonder Wallaby is a great pattern that is written for child's size 2 up to an adults XXL. You could literally make one for the whole family! This class we will make one of the child's size sweaters. Handouts will be given to help clarify tricky sections of the pattern.

LILA COWL

The Lila Cowl is a lovely little accessory worked in the round with the chevron design. You will learn how to use the provisional cast on, left and right leaning increases and decreases. Building Blocks was created to move the new knitter beyond the basics by introducing the major knitting techniques in a systematic approach. Each block builds upon the skills of the previous block, allowing the knitter to gain confidence and knowledge while working towards a beautiful sample afghan.

KID'S RAINBOW SWEATER

Make a striped Child's size sweater in the round. Learn shaping, striping, sleeves, collar …etc. Great 1st time sweater class.

MOSAIC KNITTED BABY BLANKET or SCARF

Skill Level: Beginner.
Next Start Date: December 7, 2016.

Looks hard but isn't. Learn how to use slip stitches to give your blanket or scarf an expert look while only using one color at a time. No color work involved. Great for all levels of knitters. Choose your project and two colors of DK or Worsted yarn and away we go.




SKACEL REFLECTIONS SWEATER

Skacel's Reflections Sweater made with Cashmere Queen. A beautifully constructed sweater starting with the bottom of the right sleeve, building out to the body and progressing to the left sleeve. On the journey, we'll be learning German Short rows to create beautiful shaping, reverse backward loop, and use different needle sizes to shape the collar. Constructed totally in garter stitch ( for all o you who are allergic to purling). Truly beautiful.


OPEN SIDED SHAWL COLLARED PONCHO

This Open-Sided Poncho is a quick and fun knit. Heavy enough to keep the fall and winter chill from invading, but lightweight and easy to wear. We'll be flat-knitting, knitting in the round, three-needle binding off, and learning to pick up stitches for ribbing - EASILY. Your choice to make the Open-Sided Poncho or the Chunky Striped Open-Sided Poncho.

GO-TO-CARDIGAN

Skill Level:Advanced Beginner

This is a classic A-Line cardigan with side vents and shor-row shaping. Sweater is knit in a DK weight for a versatile garment. In this class we will use a variation of the long tail cast-on and German short rows.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO CROCHET

Learn to chain, single, double, half-double, triple, increase and decrease. We'll be making an adult or child's crocheted blanket from the
Noro Flowers Book 4 using the techniques learned.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO KNIT
Skill Level: Novice
Next Class Starts:December 1, or 3, 2016

In four weeks, Beginners turn into real knitters! Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and decrease when making your first hat in the round in week three. In week four you will complete your hat using double point needles.

BEYOND THE BASICS
Skill Level:Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.
Next Class Starts: December 3, 2016

Got the basics down? Time to advance those knitting skills,. In this class you will learn a cable cowl, NAE scarf using seed stitch and learning to follow patterns, fixing mistakes and lots more!
