CLASSES

REGISTRATION
Classes fill quickly so don’t wait to sign up by calling 303-322-2223. Payment is due at registration.

CLASS POLICY
As space is limited, full payment is required to reserve a class. All materials must be purchased in advance, unless noted that material selection is part of the class. Please note skill level required and if there is any homework prior to the class.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Class and workshop fees are refundable or transferable up to two weeks before the start of class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Teachers reserve the right to cancel with less than three student sign-ups. In the event of cancelation the student has the option of transferring to a differents class or receiving a refund.

When signing up for a class, please note the skill level required and if there is homework noted.

PRIVATE HELP APPOINTMENTS
Unable to attend a class or need more individualized help? Schedule a private appointment with one of our skilled staff by calling 303-322-2223. $30.00 to $50.00 per hour for private lessons.
KNITTING SKILL LEVELS
Novice:
Knows how to spell knit, purl and crochet.

Beginner:
Knit- Knows how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Crochet - Knows how to chain, single, double and triple crochet.

Intermediate:
Knows a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and knows mid-level shaping.

Advanced:
Knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.

KNIT STITCH CRASH COURSE
Skill Level: Novice

Learn to cast on your yarn and begin knitting a Cowl or a Scarf. You will now understand why knitters ALWAYS carry their knitting with them (the car, parties, Bronco games, movies, you get the idea). This intro class will give you a taste for knitting so that you are ready for the Crash Course Survivor's Class. Happy knitting!

CRASH COURSE SURVIVORS CLASS
Skill Level: Designed for the survivor's of the KNIT STITCH CRASH COURSE.

This three week class finishes up the Learner's Permit to Knit Class which began with the Knit Stitch Crash Course. Learn to knit in the round, purl, use double-point needles, and bind off. Your can classify yourself as and advanced-beginner to intermediate level knitter. For the overachievers in the group, we will start a shawl-collared vest or a more intricate cowl after completing the hat.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO CROCHET
Skill Level: Novice

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO KNIT
Skill Level: Novice

In four weeks, Beginners turn into real knitters!

Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and decrease when making your first hat in the round in week three. In week four you will complete your hat using double point needles.


BEADED AMULET BAGS

These dainty little pouches are knit using 0000 lace needles, size 11 seed beads and perle cotton in a traditional melon bag pattern. With a little patience, a bag takes only about 10 hours to complete. In this class, participants will learn how to quickly string beads, knit short rows shaping and make twisted cord. There are samples in the shop if you are curious. We also have a color card for you to pick out the combination of beads and thread for your kit.

ELEPHANT
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner.

The size of this elephant depends on what yarn or combination of yarns you choose. The pattern will be provided for this class.

TRICKS UP YOUR (COFFEE) SLEEVE - Double Knitting and More

COLORADO FLAG HAT
Skill Level: Intermediate.
You've seen it in the shop, now make one for yourself, and your entire family. We'll learn the provisional cast on to create a hemmed cuff, then work color striping and color changing to create this Colorado-proud ski cap.
