CLASSES

REGISTRATION
Register for classes by coming into the shop or calling 303-322-2223. Take a minute to read and understand the Class Policy Section below.

CLASS POLICY
As space is limited, full payment is required at registration to hold your spot. All materials must be purchased prior to the beginning of class, unless otherwise noted. All materials needed must be purchased from LambShoppe with the exception of hardware you already own such as needles, hooks etc. Please note skill level required and if there is any homework for your class. As a courtesy to the other students we ask that you arrive for class on time. There will be no admittance beyond 10 minutes past the start time.We know that occasionally unforeseen events will prevent you from being able to attend all of the scheduled classes. In that event any make-up time must be arranged with your instructor and there may be an additional fee required.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Class and workshop fees are transferable up to one week before the start of class. We cannot refund or transfer after that. Instructors reserve the right to cancel with less than their minimum student sign-ups. In the event of cancelation the student has the option of transferring to a differents class or receiving a refund.

PRIVATE HELP APPOINTMENTS
Unable to attend a class or need more individualized help? Schedule a private appointment with one of our skilled staff by calling 303-322-2223. $30.00 to $50.00 per hour for private lessons.
KNITTING SKILL LEVELS
Novice:
Knows how to spell knit, purl and crochet.

Beginner:
Knit- Knows how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease.
Crochet - Knows how to chain, single, double and triple crochet.

Intermediate:
Knows a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and knows mid-level shaping.

Advanced:
Knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row.

ROWAN ELDORA KNIT ALONG
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner.
Next Start Date: May 30.

WAFFLE HAT
Skill Level: Beginner.

This simple hat pattern is great for beginners. A perfect in-the-round project. Students learn knitting in the round, two different decreases and the versatile waffle stitch pattern.

GIANT GRANNY SQUARE AFGHAN
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.
Next Start Date: April 8, 2015.

This two week class is designed for those who can chain, single and double crochet already. The pattern is easily adaptable to pillow making, lap throws or a snuggly, lightweight afghan. Impress yourself with how quickly this afghan will fly off your hook. Two classes are all that is needed to learn to make this beautiful Noro afghan.


RUSTIC CHRISTMAS STOCKING

Skill Level:Advanced Beginner
Next Start Date: June 2.

Fair Isle Scandinavian Stocking! Start NOW so that you won't be weaving in the final strands of yarn on December 24! You will learn a traditional two-handed knitting technique which makes you fair Isle zip along and also secures your floats. We'll design our stocking, choose our motifs and colors, and learn the Fair Isle technique in the first class, AND get started. So many projects use Fair Isle - a wonderful skill to learn. ZEALANA "AIR" CHUNKY CABLED FINGERLESS MITTS.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner.

Oooooh! Zealana Air Chunky Yarn. Possum and Cashmere and Silk. Oh, My! So, we re either throwing in a two and one-half hour class on bobbles and cables because the luscious Zealana Possum/cashmere yarn is so expensive or we're discounting the yarn tremendously and charging for the class. You decide! Either way, we'll make a fabulous pair of beautiful, cozy, soft mitts. Class without Zealana yarn, $50.00 plus materials. $100.00 includes 2 skeins of Zealana Air Chunky, 3 hour class, and pattern. You will need one pair of size 8 and one pair of size 9 needles.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate.

KNIT STITCH CRASH COURSE
Skill Level: Novice
Next Date: To Be Announced. Groupon Holders of "KNIT STITCH CRASH COURSE" may also attend the first session of any "LEARNER'S PERMIT TO KNIT" as space allows.

Learn to cast on your yarn and begin knitting a Cowl or a Scarf. You will now understand why knitters ALWAYS carry their knitting with them (the car, parties, Bronco games, movies, you get the idea). This intro class will prepare you to move on to the next project if you catch the bug. Happy knitting!

MADISON PONCHO
Intermediate
Next Start Date: In Progress.


This poncho is knit from side to side with cables on both sides of the neck opening. It has seed stitch side borders and the cuffs are picked up and knit in ribbing at the end.

ON THE SHORE
Skill Level: Advanced
Next Start Date: June 2, 2015.

This is an MC Escher inspired afghan. Before the first class purchase materials and work a guage swatch. Pattern is available for purchase at ravelry.com.

WONDERFUL WALLABY
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner.
Next Start Date: Full/Closed

The Wonderful Walaby pattern teaches you how to make a seamless hoodie knit from the bottom up. This pattern is highly customizable and is sized to fit everyone in the family - from toddlers to adult size XXL.

Homework: Purchase materials and have yarn wound if necessary.

Are you ready to try your hand at making a sweater? Here's your chance. Annie is offering your choice of 2 patterns. The monthly class gives you plenty of knitting time between classes so you can easily complete your sweater by the conclusion of class in June.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO CROCHET
Skill Level: Novice
Next Start Date: April 15.

Learn to chain, single, double, half-double, triple, increase and decrease. We'll be making an adult or child's crocheted blanket from the
Noro Flowers Book 4 using the techniques learned.

LEARNER'S PERMIT TO KNIT
Skill Level: Novice
Next Start Date: April 11, 2015.

In four weeks, Beginners turn into real knitters! Learn how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off and decrease when making your first hat in the round in week three. In week four you will complete your hat using double point needles.
