Quaking Aspen is a top-down triangular shawl featuring a richly textured aspen leaf lace border which knits up quickly. For lace newbies, Quaking Aspen could be a great first lace shawl, as the pattern is filled with detailed explanations and helpful hints. Class will cover using both chart reading and written instructions. The worsted weight yarn adds a three-dimensional quality to the thicker knitted fabric. The shawl is offered in two sizes (med and large) but could be knit using any weight yarn (we will be knitting the large size in class).
