Friendship bracelets date back to ancient times. In the early 1970s they made a comeback and are currently becoming very popular again. The traditional rule of thumb is to have one friend tie the others bracelet on while the receiver makes a wish. The bracelets are to be worn until they fall off, at which point the wish will be granted
The Chevron pattern is the best beginners pattern to learn many of the weaving principles, and will be the first to be offered at LambShoppe’s new Bracelet of the Month Classes.
Because of the popularity of these bracelets, we are offering a companion deal. If you have someone from ages 12-18 you would like to have take the class with you, there will be an option for them to attend with you for ½ price or $25 dollars more. Call the Shoppe to take advantage of this discount
Supplies: Rowan Cotton Glace, 3 colors minimum, enough yarn for multiple bracelets. Friendship bracelets are typically made with embroidery floss, I have been experimenting with different fibers and the cotton glace is working is superior to embroidery floss. Unfortunately, your wish will be delayed even more!
