Novice Tee - Spring Edition
You will have the choice of making the Anker Tee or the Campana Tee. Both are top down sweater designs. The Anker Tee has a ribbed yoke and raglan sleeves where the Campana has knit, purl texture in the yoke and some short rows for shaping. The body of each is knit in stockinette in the round. They are both quick and easy knits using non-wool yarn. Perfect for a spring and summer tee. This class is for you if you have never knit a sweater, have never knit with non-wool yarn, want to learn short rows or need to gain a better understanding of gauge and how it influences the
size of a garment. You will learn to swatch in the round, determine your gauge, knit with non-wool yarn as well as short rows for the Campana Tee. In the first class we will discuss gauge and yarn substitution. You will choose your yarn in class one.

Needles:
Anker Tee –
Circular needles: 16” US 6 and 24”-40” depending on size made.
DPNs US 6 and US 4 if not using magic loop for sleeves
Campana Tee –
Circular Needles: 16” and 32” US 5 and US 6 or size to obtain gauge
DPNs US 5 if not using magic loop for sleeves

Ruler to measure gauge
Scissors
Smooth, thin waste yarn to hold stitches for sleeves
