Don't Panic Gift Series - Design Your Own (Pet) Stocking!

You don’t have to be human to enjoy the Christmas season, and the same goes for Christmas stockings. This pattern is designed especially for those furry family members you love so dearly, and created at the perfect size for a bone, chew toy, or whatever other little gift your four-legged friend desires this holiday season. Because everyone in the home deserves a handmade stocking filled with love!

In this class you will learn Kitchener Stitch, the Afterthought Heel, fair isle knitting, and knitting in the round. You will also find 15 color charts, as follows:

Large breed dog
Small breed dog (scottie/yorkie)
Small dog (puppy/misc)
Three Cat charts
Large Bone
Small Bone
Large Paw Print
Small Paw Print

As well as 4 patterns for the foot of your stocking!

Materials Needed:
Worsted weight yarn
-Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash
-Cascade 220
-Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok

Size 7 16” circular needle size 7 DPNs (or 32” circular for Magic Loop Method)

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Students will learn stranded colorwork, sock construction, and Kitchener stitch in this class.
Materials Included: Materials sold separately and must be purchased from Lambshoppe
Requirements: Students must know how to knit and purl. Experience knitting in the round is helpful.
