Learner's Permit to Knit (Fall/Winter)
Students will learn how to read a pattern, cast on, and knit in the round on your hat in class #1 . Class #2, you will learn how to decrease the top of your hat. Class #3, you will cast on for your scarf, knit back and forth and learn how to purl. Class #4, you will focus on completing your hat and scarf and maybe even making a pom-pom for your hat!!

Supplies Needed:
- 2 skeins of Cascade 128 Superwash Yarn
(purchased from The Lamb Shoppe)
- US Size 10/16” Circular Needles
- US Size 10/8” Double Point Needles
- Locking Stitch Markers
- Tapestry Needle

| Instructor Bio: | Bev started knitting about 10 years ago when she found out she was going to be a grandma. She started taking lessons in Michigan and began knitting washcloths, scarves, blankets, booties, hats, sweaters, dresses, sleep sacks, shrugs and even a green snake with a double red tongue! In addition to still knitting for her 3 Grands, she feels lucky to knit samples for the Lamb Shoppe and teach the Learners Permit to Knit classes. It?s exciting to see how the students progress and go on to take other classes that are offered. |
