Amigurumi Whale

Let's crochet a cute Amigurumi Whale together! Amigurumi is the Japanese art of small, stuffed crocheted (or knitted) creatures and this Whale is too cute to skip.

In this class, we'll start with the Magic Circle and increase to create in a flat circle. Then we'll stitch (single crochet stitches only!) most of the whale's body before we start decreasing. Amanda will teach invisible decreases, perfect for Amigurumi, and offer some stuffing tips too. We'll do a few more Magic Circles to create 2 fins and a tail. Lastly, we'll sew the appendages into our whales!

We will hold 2 strands of worsted weight cotton yarn throughout this project. Pattern will be supplied in class. Grab a Whale Amigurumi kit Here!
