Embroidered Crochet Blossom Bag
Crochet a cute handbag and then learn to embroider your work in this fun, two-part class! You will learn three 3-d embroidery stitches: detached buttonhole stitch, cast-on stitch, and French knots.
Syllabus:
Class 1- You will learn how to crochet the squares that make up the bag, including the fun popcorn stitch.
Class 2- Learn the embroidery stitches and embroider the squares.
Class 3- Make up the bag and add the handles.
You will need:
The Pattern: Flower Blossom Purse, found on Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/flower-blossom-purse-2
Yarn: 4 balls of Noro Silk Garden Solo for the bag and 2 balls of Silk Garden Solo for contrast colors (1 flower color and 1 leaf color).
Size G or H crochet hook, depending on gauge.
Darning needle for embroidery.
