You can knit this hat with the gauge you have for the size you want.  You will learn how to adapt the pattern to fit your gauge. No swatching required! You will also learn the center-out cast-on and increasing for the the size crown you want, M1R (Make 1 Right), M1L (Make 1 Left) increases. The hat can be knit with DPNs (Double Pointed Needles) or Magic Loop.
