Intro to Magic Loop with Magic Mitts

Learn the Magic Loop technique for knitting small circumference projects in the round.
We will make a pair of fingerless mitts using the magic loop technique, and for those who are adventurous, we’ll do two-at-a-time magic loop!
Participants will learn:
- Increases (make 1 left/right)

Working in the round using the magic loop method
- Making a thumb gusset
- Optional: Working two pieces (2 mitts) in the round with magic loop, at the same time on the same needle
Magic Mitts Pattern on Ravelry
100 Gm (about 140-200 yards) worsted weight yarn, solid, striped, variegated, or speckles.
Yarn Suggestions: Ella Rae Cashmerino Aran, Herd of Cats DK, Hikoo Simpliworsted, Knerd String DK, Malabrigo Rios.
4 locking stitch markers
Purl string, waste yarn or stitch holder
Tapestry needle
Needles: If you have the needles listed below, bring them but please do NOT purchase any prior to class! We will spend a few minutes at the beginning of the 1st class discussing needles & what you should look for when doing magic loop!

Homework: There is no homework prior to class. Participants will need to work on the project between classes.
