Chain Stitch Embroidery Clinic

The class project is an Easter Egg Napkin design created by Tawnya and exclusive to Lamb Shoppe. As we go, students will learn basic Chain Stitch and then build upon that to learn four more forms of Chain Stitch.

Bring your own napkins or purchase some from Lamb Shoppe and come in for a deep dive into Chain Stitch in this single-evening class.  

Included in the registration price: Easter Egg Embroidery Kit which includes a printed pattern, 2 templates, and stitch guide. (You will receive this kit in class from Tawyna.)

Supplies to purchase at LambShoppe: 
1) Cotton stranded embroidery floss in 3 colors. 
       Samples are embroidered using:
       - Purple: #26, 29, 30
       - Pink: #23, 33, 35
       - Yellow: #17,18, 19
       - Orange: #20, 21, 22
       - Mint Green: #10, 13,15
       - Spring Green: #10, 12,16
OR choose your own adventure, but make sure that there are 3 different colors with a light, medium, and darker shade for contrast. 

2) A Napkin to embroider. You may Purchase a Napkin Here - 1 Napkin per purchase. (You will receive these in class.)

****If you bring your own napkins they should be medium too light in color, made from cotton or linen. Wash and dry napkins prior to class as this will prevent puckering. 

3) Sharp tip embroidery needles (size 7 or 8), embroidery hoop, needle threader (if using a hook-type threader be sure that it fits thru the eye of the needle), needle-minder, small scissors.
