Newbie Knitter Cowl
This cowl class is designed to give Newbie Knitters practice in casting on, knitting and purling along with learning to knit 2 stitches together followed by a yarn over. If you’ve taken Learner’s Permit to Knit, this is the good next step for YOU!!
This cowl comes in 3 different sizes: Small (forms a snug circle around your neck), Medium (fits loosely and drapes around our neck), and Large (can be circled twice around your neck for a splendid drape).
Pattern: Beginners’ Cowl This is a free pattern on Ravelry you can obtain yourself or get a copy from the instructor.
Supplies: DK Weight Yarn
- Small - 123 yard
- Medium - 180 yards
- Large - 250 yards
Yarn suggestions: Rowan Cotton Cashmere (shop sample), Berroco Vintage Baby Handpaints, Rowan Cotton Trio, Ella Rae Cozy Soft, Laines du Nord Merino Yak.
