Continental Knitting for Throwers (English Style)

Continental Knitting is where the knitter holds their yarn in the left hand and uses the right hand needle to "pick" your stitches.

This is a great addition to add to your basket of skills.  Many people find Continental knitting as "faster". It is definitely more efficient and can save extra movements compared to holding your yarn in your right hand.

Continental knitting makes the movements for ribbing and yarn overs much less and allows you to hold yarn in both hands when doing colorwork/stranded knitting.

Bring worsted weight yarn to class and a US 8 circular needle.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: It is best to be proficient in the style of knitting you use today.
