Socks 201: The Next Steps

This class is designed for those who have already tried their hand at socks in some way, and are ready to take their sock game to the next level! While working Andrea Mowry's Oxbow Socks, we will be learning a tubular cast-on for the cuff, how to use reinforcement thread, and how to manage a patterned leg and foot!
Materials:
One skein of sock yarn (Instructor used Gazzal Woolstar)
US 1 double pointed needles or 32" circulars for magic loop
Stitch markers (locking)
One bobbin of sock reinforcement thread, if desired. (We will talk about this in class).
Homework:
Purchase materials and pattern
Gauge swatch:
Please knit a gauge swatch before class and choose needle size accordingly. I got gauge with Woolstar on a US 0, but your needs will vary. If you have questions about your swatch, feel free to reach out before class! You can email rachel@thelambshoppe.com with questions.
