Westknits Surprise Sock Along
Join us at Lamb Shoppe for the annual Surprise Sock Along from Stephen West! This is a fun way to knit in community, learn lots of new techniques and go on a colorful mystery-knitting adventure!
This Knit Along is in its 4th year and we are thrilled to host a gathering of adventurous sock knitters. Please make sure you purchase the SSAL 2026: Chameleonic Socks pattern by Stephen West and you will receive the clues as they are released each week beginning July 28.
Stephen provides so much support during his events on his You Tube channel! He says you can make these socks (with his video support) even if you've never knitted socks before!
Pattern: Purchase SSAL 2026: Chameleonic Socks by Stephen West (purchase now and each clue will be emailed to you on July 28 (cast-on), August 4, 11, and 18 (final clue).
Supplies:

100g self-striping (Zauberball Crazy recommended and available Here!)
- 100g contrasting color of solid/tonal sock yarn (Cascade Heritage recommended. Shoppe Here!)

US 0 Needles or size needed to obtain gauge (32sts & 50 rounds = 4” in Stockinette, after blocking)

Homework: Decide your sock size & gauge swatch so we can all cast-on together on July 28th!
