Fright Fest: Skip Starting Chains

When beginning a crochet project: Are you sick of a terribly too-tight foundation chain? Are you frustrated with counting (and re-counting) all those pesky, twisty chain stitches?

Then it’s time to learn about Foundation Stitches. This new foundation technique is not necessarily chain-less, but Foundation Crochet Stitches allow you to complete a stitch AND a chain at the same time! You’ll make as many Foundation Single Crochets (FSC) as you need and then you’re ready for your second row. Just like that!

Supplies:
Worsted weight yarn in a light color and a hook of an appropriate size
