Embroidery Basics Using Rikrack Knit Sampler
If you’ve ever wanted to learn a few embroidery stitches, but didn’t have a lot of time, this is the class for you!
In the Embroidery Basics class the student learns four key embroidery stitches in a single two-hour class.
The class project is a fun knitting themed sample from Rikrack. As we go, students will learn how to hoop their fabric, safety tips, handle needle threaders and floss, how to weave in ends, and four basic stitches. At the end of class students will learn how to finish their work ready to display their cute crochet sampler.
Supplies:
Rikrack Knit Sampler, kit includes printed sampler, hoop, floss, and needle. Included in class fee.
Tools: Available for purchase at Lamb Shoppe - needle threader (if using a hook style needle threader be sure to check that the hook will fit through the eye of the needles), needle-minder, small scissors.
Homework: Ensure to pick up supplies prior to class. Kit will be available by asking Lamb Shoppe staff after you have paid for class.
