Christmas Crunch - Seasons Mitts
The Seasons Mitts are knit in the round with DPNs or a long circular using magic loop. Bulky yarn makes this very quick to knit for your last minute gifts.
Supplies:
Yarn: Super Bulky- 80 yds - Malabrigo Rasta or Baah Sequoia is recommended.
You may also knit this up in a lighter weight bulky with 1 skein of Cascade 128.
Pattern:Seasons Mitts
Needles:
--For Super Bulky yarn (Malabrigo Rasta or Baah Sequoia) - US 10.5/6.5 mm DPNS or long circular for magic loop.
--For Bulky yarn (Cascade 128)- 10/ 6mm, and 10.5/ 6.5 mm DPNS or long circular for magic loop.
Tapestry needle
Measuring tape
Scissors
8” of scrap yarn (of different color) for gusset. This will be removed when the thumb is worked up
Homework: Please knit the cuff for your mitts (1 for class) per the instructions in the pattern for the weight of yarn you are using. Complete 1 cuff prior to class! Note that instructions vary between Super bulky, light super bulky, and bulky yarn.
