LambShoppe Anniversary - Dutch Tulips Cast On Party!
Continuing our 20th anniversary celebration, Jennifer Miller of Theodora's Pearls will lead a cast-on party for the Dutch Tulips Shawl by Alina Apposova.
This pattern combines many different techniques and stitches; garter stitch, mosaic knitting, and eyelets. Lots to keep you engaged.
The shawl is an asymmetrical triangle that is knitted sideways for some extra fun.
This Cast-On Party is a free event with the purchase of yarn for the project at LambShoppe. Kits are available to shoppe here or in-store, and à la carte color-picking will be available soon! Kits are available in two bases from Theodora Pearl's: Auxanometer (100% bamboo) and Palladio (superwash wool, cashmere & silk blend) in 4 color options.
Supplies:
Yarn: Dutch Tulips Shawl Kits or two skeins of fingering weight yarn (approx 400 yards each)
Pattern: Dutch Tulips available on Ravelry.
Needles: US 5 or needle to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Scissors
Homework: Please have your yarn wound and ready to go before the party.
