Novice Colorwork Sweater - REGISTRATION CLOSED

In this class you will knit a sweater with stranded color work using 2 colors in worsted weight yarn.  The pattern is Humulus by Isabel Kraemer.  Humulus is the botanical name for hops and the color work design is based on the hops flower. The sweater is seamless and knit from the top down with a few short rows in the upper back for enhanced fit and shaping. From the yoke you divide for the sleeves and knit your way to the bottom, then the sleeves.

Techniques you will learn are choosing colors for your sweater, swatching for colorwork, German short rows, stranded color work, and how to read a color work chart. The best part of this is the color work is only 35 rows but makes an outstanding design.  This is a good follow up class to the Novice Sweater class.
