THE KIT
We love a good, reusable bag. And we love mercerized cotton because of its sheen and non-stretch properties. So we made kits for you pairing up 2 of our favorite things to create a perfect summer knitting project! Kits include 2 balls each of 2 colors of yarn and a printed copy of one of the patterns below. Just add needles and get stitching!
THE PATTERNS
You have a choice of patterns with this kit:
Summer Fling from Espace Tricot (pictured left) is the perfect little summer bag for strolling around town, light shopping, or meeting friends for a cocktail on a terrace! The bottom is knit flat and then stitches are picked up for knitting the main body in the round. Handles are then knit flat one at a time and are joined using Kitchener stitch.
ATX Linen Tote comes to us from Staci Perry at Very Pink Knits and it's pictured above on the right. Which means it comes with 5 video tutorial videos! Find the blog post here! This is a simple bag with a fun fade pattern, all done in stockinette stitch.
THE YARN
A favorite with designers, crocheters, and knitters alike, Cotton Glacé is spun with a high twist for incredible stitch definition. With bright and breezy shades to choose from it's an easy option for fun colorwork patterns and perfect for children's knits and practical projects as it's machine washable too.
