THE KIT
Andrea Mowry's 2024 Rhinebeck sweater, Framed, is the inspiration for her Frame Your Face Cowl and we just love it! We have made kits with 2 of our favorite sport-weight yarns so you can make it ASAP. Just add some needles and have FUN with this one!
THE PATTERN
After creating the colorwork motif for the Framed Sweater, you know I had to keep playing with it! This cowl is so fun to knit and so easy to wear. You can knit it up in either Worsted or Sport weight yarn and then just pull it over your head to stay cozy with effortless style! It is knit in a tube in the round, twisted a half turn, and then seamed together using the Mattress stitch method. ~AM
THE YARNS
We have included 1 hank of Cascade Heritage 6 in a dark, solid color and 2 hanks of Urth Spiral Grain Sport as the variegated, slightly stripey contrast color. Both yarns are machine washable!
Heritage 6 from Cascade Yarns is a super-soft yet durable yarn that is machine washable and dryable because of its blend of superwash merino wool and nylon. (100g/292yds)
Urth Spiral Grain Sport consists of three colorful plys twisted together to mirror the unusual spiral grain growth patterns found in trees. Gradual color changes with a visual depth in texture offer an engaging and delightful knitting experience. (50g/198yds each)
