THE KIT
Our Meander Scarf kits include 1 hank of Harvest from Urth Yarns and a printed pattern in an organza bag. Just add needles!
THE PATTERN
A 1-skein boomerang shaped scarf that ebbs and flows in ever changing, nearly reversible stitch directions, much like its namesake river in the Aegean region of Turkey, Meander Scarf uses a repetition of whirling eyelets to demarcate the textures of each different motif. Worked flat from the narrow end with consistent garter edges. (Please note: the pattern calls for US 7 needle, but some knitters needed to go down to US 6 so as not to run out of yarn.)
THE YARN
Harvest from Urth Yarns is a fingering weight extrafine superwash Merino wool that is hand-dyed by Turkish artisans using plant based dyes. Harvest can be machine-washed.
