Rachel and Mary Carol found Meg from Megs & Co at the h+h americas trade show this summer and just had to bring her small batch, hand-dyed yarn to LambShoppe. We have brought in Megs & Co Illumination in 5-color packs and matched it up with a Dotted Rays shawl pattern from Stephen West at Westknits to show it off.
This Megs & Co Dotted Rays kit includes the Dotted Rays Speckled Fade shawl pattern from Stephen West: This top-down shawl is a colorful variation of the original Dotted Rays design. Choose 5 or 6 colors and create your own gradient by striping the colors together using the Speckled Fade color technique. Westknits shortcut rows with yarn over holes form the long curved shape. Select between the multiple border options and knit a large or super large sized shawl.
Illumination from Megs & Co is a fingering weight yarn hand dyed in Fairport, New York in small batches. This blend is 70% superwash merino and 30% silk. Most of Meg's colorways feature vibrant speckles that are intentionally developed to ensure the resulting fabric is a well-blended balance of dimensional color. There are 5-100g hanks in each 5-color yarn pack. Choose from 2 colorways to knit the gorgeous Dotted Rays Speckled Fade shawl.
