THE KIT
Powder Days is a fun hat that will knit up quickly once you get the hang of the mosaic stitch pattern! We have included 2 hanks of Juniper Moon's Moonshine and a printed pattern in an organza bag. Just add needles! (We always recommend gauge-swatching to figure out the right needle size for you.)
THE PATTERN
From Isabell Kraemer, Powder Days is a casual hat, worked in the round from the brim to the top. The cute pattern on this hat is knitted with only one color on any given round. Working slip stitches, and the “magical” k1-uls result in a beautiful all over textured colorwork pattern, making it a perfect introduction to colorwork. Crown decreases are worked in pattern. The pattern includes links to helpful tutorials for knitting up this fun project.
THE YARN
Moonshine lives up to its name! The (20%) organic silk content makes the colors glow, while the (40%) highland peruvian wool and (40%) extrafine baby alpaca are a buttery soft combination.
