THE KIT
The Reyna shawl is a simple, lacey shawl; perfect for showing off a single, variegated fingering weight skein. We've included 1 skein and the printed pattern in an organza bag for this kit. Just add needles!
THE PATTERN
Noora Backlund designed this classic shawl pattern with alternating garter and mesh sections. This pattern was specifically designed to work WITH variegating colors, instead of getting obscured underneath the color changes. You'll cast-on just 3 stitches and watch it grow! There's even a convenient row tracking graphic included in this pattern too.
THE YARN
We have paired up Reyna with Illumination from Megs & Co, a fingering weight, 1-ply yarn that is a superwash merino wool and silk blend (70/30). Meg hand-dyes near Rochester, New York, in small batches and crafts colorways that feature vibrant speckles that are intentionally developed to ensure the resulting fabric is a well-blended balance of dimensional color. We think this pairing will make a stunning, summer shawl! We have more colors of Illumination available in-shoppe!
