THE KIT
It's Kitty Knitting Time! We have created kits so you can knit The Scullery Cat from Herd of Cats' yarn that's been dyed to match actual cats at the shelter! Kits include 3 hanks of yarn plus a printed pattern, all inside an organza bags. Just add US 4 needles and get kitten. Oops, get KNITTIN!
*You will also need fiberfill to stuff your cat as well as scrap yarn/thread for facial embellishments. Theses are not included in the kit.
THE PATTERN
Lurking behind a washtub, sneaking bits of shepherd’s pie when no one is looking, the Scullery Cat lives out his nine lives as best he can. The finished project measures 12 inches in height and is 5 inches across the chest. It is worked mostly in the round, mostly in one piece, and can be personalized any number of ways.

THE YARN
From Ali at Herd of Cats/Road Trip Sock Yarn, this bulky-weight, single-ply yarn is 100% superwash merino and has been dyed to match cats at the local shelter. Ali donates a portion of her proceeds back to the shelter! Included in kits: 1 skein of white yarn for the kitty chest, paws and tail and 2 skeins of variegated yarn for the remainder of the cat. 100g/100 meters each.
