Winter Holiday Hat Kit

Nancy Bates, the genius behind Knitting the National Parks and Knitting California, has designed the red, white and green Winter Holiday Hat featuring pine trees, starbursts and snowflakes. And we've put together kits so you can make it yourself or gift it to a knitter in your life!

The Pattern:
Nancy Bates loves her stranded colorwork and this hat fits in her wheelhouse nicely! Brighten up any holiday event or just stay warm and cozy on winter adventures in this fun and festive hat knit from the bottom up.  The pattern includes charts and instructions for both long and short versions.  It's like getting 2 patterns in one! Knitted hat fits average adult size head 19" to 22."

The Yarns:
We have included enough yarn to make the short, beanie version of the Winter Holiday Hat, as pictured above, in our kits. We've included 25g skeins of Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash in Green & Red as well as Worsted from Manos del Uriguay Alegria Grande in Parrot. We've also included 10g skeins of Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash in Natural and Fern. 

The Pom Pom:
We have included a white (Arctic Fox) Furreal Pom in this kit to top off your holiday beanie with some fluffy faux fur fun! The pom pom has a metal, 2-piece snap so it can be easily removed when you need to wash your hat.
