Wisp Tank Kit
THE KIT
With our new addition of Oh Dang! Solids from Farmer's Daughter Fibers, we have created kits for you to knit up Caitlin Hunter's Wisp Tank. Kits include a printed pattern and 2 skeins of Oh Dang!. In our kits we have included enough yarn for you to knit the first 2 sizes of Wisp Tank (up to 36" Finished Bust). To make bigger sizes, add one or two more skeins to your order here. See below for sizing/yardage estimates. Yarn will be held double throughout the pattern.
THE PATTERN
From Caitlin Hunter, the pattern designer (on Ravelry as boylandknitworks): Wisp is a simple tank worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in the round and then the front and back are split and worked flat. The front and back are shaped the same with a low V neckline. Mine is knit using 2 strands of Oh Dang from The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers but can be made in any fiber, just make sure you can get gauge and like the fabric you create! I wear mine both alone on warm days and layered over dresses when the weather is cooler.

THE YARN
Farmer's Daughter Suri Alpaca base has us saying ‘Oh Dang!’ every time we touch it. Blended with silk for strength, Oh Dang! adds a fluffy halo to what you are stitching. A great alternative to those who are sensitive to Mohair but still want to get the feathery texture in your knits. We love using this yarn for drapey shawls, lining cowls, and holding together with other yarns for sweaters and hats.
