Yana XL is Yana, only blown – up to super chunky weight. Yana in Quechua (native language of the Incas) means “black”, because Amano believe their black sheep definitely stands out from the flock. Yana XL is 100% hand – sorted 21.5 micron Peruvian highland wool, developed and spun in an extremely soft and light -as- Andean- air structure.

Offering a bold visual companion to the Peruvian textiles that have been woven in wool in the highland of shades alongside a neutral palette. Our Yana XL is the (chunky) black sheep of the Amano family.
