THE KIT
As soon as we saw the announcement for this bright shawl come through our email, we just knew we had to get the pattern and some neon yarn into a kit together. Kits include the printed pattern and one skein of highlighter neon Cascade Heritage. Just add (US 6?) needles!
THE PATTERN
From Joji Locatelli, and inspired by a trip to Reykjavik, Iceland, Hallgrimskikla is an iconic church and now a one skein shawl. This perfectly giftable piece is knit with fingering weight yarn and a large needle. This is a diamond shaped shawl, worked from tip to tip. The instructions and progress of the work are written in sections, which makes for a lengthy pattern. However, you’ll soon see this is a really simple and easy to follow design.
THE YARN
Heritage is a super soft yet durable yarn that is machine washable and dryable because of its blend of superwash merino wool and nylon. Heritage has amazing stitch definition and with 437 yards per skein and an array of colors, this yarn is great for one skein projects, such as socks, mitts and other fun accessories.
