The Saratoga Hat Kit features an advanced beginner knitting pattern, a superchunky yarn and a coordinating pom pom!
Pattern:
Saratoga, written by Aspen Leaf Knits, is a simple pattern written up for worsted, light bulky, bulky and super bulky yarns. The beanie is reversible and will work up quickly with the super bulky yarn we've included in this kit. US size 13 & 15 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge) needed for this one! Hang on to the pattern and use it again with other yarn from our Shoppe or your stash.
Yarn:
Herd of Cats, from Road Trip Sock Yarn and Ali Pate, has a new superchunky base called Cloud and it has been dyed for us to match kitties at the shelter. Cloud is a super bulky, chain construction, 100% superwash merino yarn. Cloud is a pillow-y soft delight of a yarn that you will really enjoy working with and your kitty might even love snuggling with. Ali dyes each yarn to look like a specific cat at Denver Dumb Friends League and then donates a portion of her proceeds back the shelter!
Pom Pom:
A Herd of Cats pom pom has been included in this kit so that your kitty-cat inspired hat has a furry topper. Ali makes each one by hand and we hope you like how we've coordinated each pom to a cat yarn!
