This sweater is knit in washable fingering weight yarn. It would also be a VERY good and fun stash buster. Due to the non-traditional construction of the piece, using multiple yarns and colors would make quite an amazing and unique sweater. Using washable yarn is important to help make it more practical for the family of a new youngster. The pattern was designed by Marin Melchior and you can purchase the pattern from Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/myrnas-cardigan.
